The best ShipBob alternatives in 2026

ShipBob is one of the best-known fulfillment providers in the world, but it is not always the best option for a brand that sells mainly in Spain and Europe. In this article we explain why many brands compare alternatives and review four providers relevant to the Spanish market: what each one does, where it operates and how it differs from ShipBob.

A 3PL (third-party logistics) provider is an external company that manages storage, order preparation (picking and packing) and shipping for an ecommerce brand, so the brand doesn't have to run its own warehouses or logistics teams.

Why look for ShipBob alternatives

ShipBob is a US fulfillment company, founded in 2014 in Chicago, with more than 50 fulfillment centers worldwide according to its official locations directory. In Europe it has centers in the Netherlands (Weert and Waddinxveen), Spain (Alcalá de Henares, Madrid) and the United Kingdom (Manchester, Birmingham, Kettering and Oxford). In May 2022 it announced the opening of its first center in mainland Europe, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland (DC Velocity), although that center does not appear in its current directory.

For a US-focused brand it is a solid option. For a brand focused on Spain and Europe, there are two points worth weighing:

  • Coverage in mainland Europe: outside Spain and the Netherlands, ShipBob serves markets such as Italy, France, Germany or Portugal through international shipping, not with its own center in those countries.
  • Billing and support: ShipBob is rated 4.1/5 on Trustpilot, with more than 1,000 reviews, and most of them are positive. Among the negative reviews, the most recurring topics are unclear charges on invoices and support response times. Some users also mention that inbound phone support is no longer available (see also G2).

How we built this comparison

We ran each provider through the same five questions a Spanish brand asks itself when considering leaving ShipBob:

  • Coverage: where does it have warehouses, and which European markets does it serve from an in-country center?
  • Operating model: does it run its own warehouses or coordinate third parties?
  • Specialization: is it focused on one sector or does it serve several?
  • Technology: is its management software (OMS/WMS) proprietary?
  • Support: is there a dedicated contact or ticket-based support?

1. Amphora Logistics

AMPHORA--6

Amphora Logistics is a Spanish 3PL provider specialized in ecommerce fulfillment. According to its corporate website, it handles logistics for more than 500 brands from over 100,000 m² of its own warehouses in Spain, Italy, Poland and the United States.

The core difference from ShipBob is origin and model. Amphora was born in Spain and builds its network around the European market, and it runs its warehouses directly, without subcontracting operations. That gives it control over preparation times, packaging quality and incident resolution. Its order management (OMS) and warehouse management (WMS) software is developed in-house and integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Amazon, among other platforms (integrations).

On support, every client has an Account Manager specialized in their brand, and Amphora commits to replying in under 24 hours (3PL service). As third-party recognition, Amphora was named in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Spain 2026 as first place in the Growth category and winner of the Cleantech category.

Best for: brands selling in Spain that want to scale to Europe and the US with a single provider, with in-house operations and a human contact instead of a ticketing system.

2. Logisfashion

Logisfashion is a Spanish logistics provider founded in 1996 by three IESE students, headquartered in Barcelona and specialized in omnichannel supply chain solutions for fashion and lifestyle (Modaes; Armstrong & Associates). It works with a mixed 3PL/4PL model.

Its network spans Spain, Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Panama) and Asia (China, Hong Kong). Sources give different figures depending on how centers are counted: from around 12 operational locations to 27 logistics centers, with more than 400,000 m² in total (Fulfill.com). For some services it acts as a 4PL, coordinating other providers.

Best for: high-volume fashion brands with operations in Latin America. Outside Spain, its coverage in mainland Europe is more limited than that of providers with their own network in several European countries.

3. Bigblue

Bigblue is a French ecommerce logistics startup founded in 2018 in Paris. It arrived in Spain in February 2022, with venture capital firm Samaipata as a lead shareholder (Marketing4eCommerce). It has its own technology platform and, according to its website, a network of 9 warehouses and more than 80,000 m² in France, Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Its model has one nuance: physical operations are not always carried out by Bigblue. According to GXO's press release (May 2023), GXO has provided e-fulfillment and warehouse logistics services for Bigblue in Spain since 2022, and extended the partnership to France (Tigery) (Logística Profesional). Bigblue provides the technology and the relationship with the brand; a third-party operator provides the operations.

Best for: France-focused brands that value the unboxing experience and branded tracking. If you want the same provider to control both technology and warehouse operations, ask which centers Bigblue runs directly.

4. byrd

byrd is a fulfillment company founded in 2016 in Vienna (EU-Startups). According to its website, it has a network of 12 fulfillment centers in Austria, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland, managed with its own software (order dashboard, multichannel integrations and real-time inventory).

It started as an asset-light model: in its early funding rounds it presented itself as a network connecting online stores with logistics partners' warehouses, without owning the warehouses, and the press went as far as calling it "the Airbnb of logistics" (UKTN). It serves the Spanish market from that network, with local carriers for the last mile (byrd — Spain). Its website does not list any fulfillment center in Spain.

Best for: brands selling mainly in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, France) that want to split stock across several countries from a single dashboard. For a brand with most of its orders in Spain, it's worth confirming which warehouse will ship them.

All four are serious alternatives to ShipBob, each with its own approach. Logisfashion is the fashion benchmark with a presence in Latin America, Bigblue suits brands with a foothold in France, and byrd suits brands that sell mainly in Central Europe. For a brand that sells in Spain and wants to scale to Europe and the US with in-house operations, proprietary technology and a dedicated Account Manager, Amphora Logistics is the alternative best aligned with that profile.

Before migrating, ask each provider for the exact warehouse map your orders will ship from, a full rate breakdown (storage, picking, shipping and surcharges) and a demo of their dashboard, and compare on data.
